We hope to restore beam within the next 30 minutes. 16 October 2026 10:00 The Klixon issue from last night has now been fully resolved, all elements of the EPB are back on and the machine is now running as normal. 16 October 2026 08:43 The Klixon issue from last night has not fully resolved, the machine has been setup to run with an element of the EPB switch off. 16 October 2026 01:47 TS1 users: The klixon fault we developed earlier has not yet been resolved. The problem we face is it is in an area of high radiation (just underneath the intermediate target) so accessibility is difficult. After consulting with with relevant parties we are going to reconvene in the morning where more staff members will be available to implement a solution. Target 1 is off as we have a klixon fault on a downstream EPB1 magnet.
